Getting Real Chapter 11 talks about words. First thing I have learned dont be too focused on the full specifications of your application. Everything will just be written on paper then it will not result as you wanted it to become. Its better to start building your app having those primary specifications and with that, you will get to do those complicted features. As your primary specifications is being developed, you get to realize such features that is needed, you’re towards something real rather than putting everything up in pen and paper, build! dont write! Also, when you have ideas or features you think would be useful, make a story out of it, its easier to uderstand rather than putting all the details in a paper. When testing your applications, play with it as a real user. Not by putting up names, addresses, contact details filled with “dffkwjhoeh34rw” its better to fill those relevant information with real information so that youll get to feel what real users feel. Lastly, have your application a personlity. It should have a way to reach your users. As a person, it just have a distinction against others. You’re app will be talking to those users for 24 hours a day, it should have its own voice. It is one of the secret ways to make your app unique.
